Hidd Pipeline Project - Bahrain
Kraken played a very important role on the HIDD project in Bahrain. Kraken was specified to transport a proportion of the pipes on the surface as well as to provide underwater lightening buoyancy to reduce the winch load on the 4km x 4 pipes bottom pull.
Belfast Lough Pipeline Crossing Project
As a follow on assignment to the Scotland Northern Ireland Pipeline (SNIP) a 24” pipeline crossing of Belfast Lough was preferred to pipelaying through Belfast City centre.
Mexilhao Gasline Shore Pull
Seaflex were approached in May 2007 to supply for rental 2t Inflatable Buoyancy in pairs to assist the shore pull in extremely shallow water depth due to an 800m wide sand bar.
