VDS Cable bv, a Dutch Submarine Cable Installation Contractor, was awarded the contract for the installation of 2 HVAC power cables and 2 (bundled) fibre optic cables by the Channel Island Electricity Grid.
Al Khalij Cable Shore Approach Project
As part of the Al Khalij oilfield offshore Qatar, Elf Petroleum Qatar (EPQ) required the installation of a submarine power cable between Halul Island and the DP1 platform, as well as DP1 platform to the wellhead platform.
